Which country has the 2nd largest movie industry by volume?
According to Fortune magazine, 2014 data shows that the Nigerian movie industry, or Nollywood, is a $3Billion industry, bigger than Hollywood by volume and right behind India's Bollywood.......
Here are some of its biggest stars (sorry, I'm biased - these are my favorite and they are all women!)
Adesua Etomi
Following her role in the 2016 romantic comedy, "The Wedding Party", Adesua is now officially Nigeria's sweetheart . The movie premiered on 8 September 2016 at the Toronto International Film Festival, and was released worldwide on 16 December 2016. The Wedding Party' is the highest grossing film in Nigerian box office history.
Genevieve Nnaji
In 2009, Genevieve was featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show in an episode titled ‘Meet the Most Famous People in the World‘.
